Lowry Reaches Milestone
The Heat’s Kyle Lowry became the 12th player in NBA history to reach 2,000 career 3-pointers made in last night’s 113-112 victory over the Suns. With a listed height of 6 feet 0 inches, Lowry is the shortest player in that group:

101 — Kyle Lowry
318 — Jamal Crawford
397 — Vince Carter
397 — LeBron James
Celtic Streaks
Jayson Tatum had 27 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks as the Celtics extended their winning streak to seven games with a 126-122 win over the Thunder. The Celtics own the NBA’s best record at 11-3, with two of their losses coming in overtime.
Tatum became just the second player in franchise history to score at least 20 points in each of his first 14 games of a season. He joins Hall of Famer Kevin McHale, who did so in 1986-87. McHale’s streak reached 28 games.
Tatum’s Game Score* was 21.1, the eighth straight game in which he’s recorded a Game Score of 20.0 or higher. That’s the longest such streak of his career.
* John Hollinger’s estimate of a player’s total production in a game.
The Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recorded a game-high Game Score of 29.1 in the loss:
37 PTS
8 AST
13-26 FG
9-9 FT
It’s the ninth time Gilgeous-Alexander has posted a Game Score of 25.0 or higher this season, tying him with Luka Doncic for the NBA lead:

Young and Murray have each recorded at least 300 points and 100 assists this season:

Murray — 301 PTS, 109 AST
They are the first duo in NBA history to reach those marks through their team’s first 14 games of a season.
Young — who has missed one game — is just the seventh player in NBA history to record at least 350 points and 120 assists through his first 13 games of a season (a total of 12 instances):
Oscar Robertson (four times)
Russell Westbrook (two times)
James Harden (two times)
Jerry West
Nate Archibald
Luka Doncic
Trae Young
The Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 27 points in the loss. He’s just the second player in franchise history to score at least 20 points in each of his first 10 games of a season, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1970-71 and 1971-72). Abdul-Jabbar started the 1970-71 season with 46 such games in a row.
Antetokounmpo is the first NBA player to average at least 30 PPG, 10 RPG, and 5 APG through his first 10 games of a season since Elgin Baylor in 1968-69.
